Dear Families & Friends,

170 school days ago we welcomed your children into our classrooms for the start of the 2018 - 2019 school year! In many ways it feels like just yesterday, and yet, as we reflect on all the learning and growth that has occurred this year, we know that each hour of each day has been full of learning, discovery, and more! As this year comes to a close, the learning and fun continue right to the very last day. We are grateful for the opportunity to share this year with your children!

○ Techsploration workshops & assembly, Grade 3
★ School-wide activities

Our word of the month for June is COURAGE. Courage plays a part in so many aspects of life, be it helping a friend, standing up for someone in need, or simply getting back up and trying again. Courage doesn’t mean we are not afraid. It means that we are strong enough to face our fears and find a way to succeed. As we end the school year, it’s easy to think about the fun that summer brings as well as to wonder what the next school year might hold. This is a great time to build our courage for all things new!

Lost & Found: Please remind your children to check lost and found prior to the end of the school year. Any items left over the summer will be donated. Thank you!

Our wishes for you this summer include:
★ Rest, relaxation, and rejuvenation
★ Time to play, to read, and to spend time with family and friends
★ Fresh air and sunshine!

To our fifth graders and their families, we wish you the very best as you move forward in your educational journeys. May you always remember who you are and where you come from - you will always be “our students” and are welcome any time!

To those returning next year - have a fabulous summer! We look forward to seeing you in August!

Until next time,
Lois Connors, Principal Sarah Muncey, Assistant Principal
